About the Community Collaborators
This project is delivered in collaboration with:
- Department of East Asian Studies, University of Alberta with active engagement from Undergraduate Students' Association – In-kind donation of staff labor, campus meeting space, promotion through its networks, background research, event support & coordination, project website, liaisons between the university and the community, learning & knowledge exchange.
- City of Edmonton Archives – Access to historical records on Chinese communities in Edmonton; heritage interpretation workshops; archiving interviews and creative works; hosting exhibitions and storytelling events.
- Nina Haggerty Centre for the Arts – Connecting the ECWC with artists from their collective who are interested in participating, providing in-kind staff hours to support the artists in creating the artwork, and administrative tasks such as documenting the work and corresponding with other project participants as needed.
- Action for Healthy Communities – Financial administration, ensuring the project follows legal and regulatory requirements, administrative and technical support, capacity building, and meeting space.

The Nina Haggerty Centre for the Arts
The Nina Haggerty Centre for the Arts (the Nina) is a non-profit organization in Edmonton, Alberta that supports artists with developmental and other disabilities. Over 200 artists attend our studios each week, working in painting, drawing, printmaking, ceramics, textiles, and more.

- The Writers' Guild of Alberta: Offering writing workshops, mentorship, and networking opportunities.
- The Edmonton Public Library's Writer in Residence: Individual manuscript consultations, public readings and talks, and networking with the writing community.
- PageMaster Publishing: Assisting with production and distribution of the anthology.
